Mike has been covering local sports on Mediacom cable since 2001, but his broadcasting career dates back to 1985, when he began an 18-year stint with Monett Communications, covering high school football, basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball. McClure has served as a play-by-play announcer and color analyst for high school sports, as well as Missouri State University football, basketball, and baseball. A veteran of over 3,000 career games, his resume includes games on National Satellite Radio, and games worked for Drury University and Missouri Southern State University. McClure is a graduate of Monett High School and the University of Arkansas.
Don is the lead play-by-play announcer for Mediacom’s local sports coverage. West has been covering sports on cable in Springfield since 1985. He has covered a wide variety of sports, including Missouri State University men’s and women’s basketball, football, hockey, baseball, and volleyball; high school football, basketball, and soccer; American Legion baseball; and Springfield Lasers tennis. West has broadcast more than 3,000 games in his career, and has also served as the host of over 500 sports-related TV shows. He has appeared on National Satellite Radio as well as Fox Sports Midwest. A Springfield native, West is a graduate of Central High School and Missouri State University.
Ed is the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications at Evangel University and serves as their play-by-play broadcaster for all their sports on Springfield’s ESPN 1400AM and the Internet through All In Broadcasting. He has served in that role since 2002-03. Ed returned to the Ozarks after working for nine years in minor league baseball and hockey working for teams that included the Peoria Chiefs and Knoxville Smokies baseball teams and the Quad City Mallards of the United Hockey League. Beach started in sports broadcasting when he was 17 calling games for Mediacom, Evangel University, Central Bible College and Missouri State. He is a graduate of Drury University.
